ENTER THE MISS BROCKWAY OLD FASHIONED FOURTH OF JULY QUEEN PAGEANT, JUNE 11, 2006!!

    The Miss Brockway Old Fashioned Fourth of July Pageant is now a preliminary competition in the Miss Pennsylvania/Miss American Scholarship Organization.  What an opportunity for young females from Clearfield, Elk, or  Jefferson County.  This advancement of the Fourth of July Queen title  brings many new opportunities, recognition, and excitement for the Tri-County area and the Brockway Fourth of July Celebration.  The Miss American organization makes scholarships totaling over $10,000,000 available annually. The winner of Miss Brockway Old Fashioned Fourth of July will receive $200.00 cash scholarship, crown, title, and more.  Also, she will compete as a finalist in Miss Pennsylvania in June of 2007, a preliminary pageant for Miss America.  A Miss Brockway first runner-up will be named and will be awarded $100.00 cash scholarship. Other places and awards will be announced. These cash awards are sponsored by The DuBois Rotary Club.   Miss Brockway makes scheduled appearances. 

Deadline date for applications was May 15, 2006. 

YOU ARE ELIGIBLE:

• If you are female between the ages of 17 and 24
• If you are a resident, student, or employee of Clearfield, Elk or Jefferson County
• If you are interested in competing in areas of talent, interview, evening gown, and swimwear  competitions
• If you are interested in earning scholarship money

     The Miss Brockway Fourth of July Pageant Competition will be held at Brockway Area High School Auditorium on June 11, 2006 at 7:00 PM.  A closed preliminary interview and judging phase will be held early that day. 

     Preliminary Information forms are released.  These can be picked up at a Clearfield, Elk or Jefferson County area local high school office, at The Dubois Chamber of Commerce or downloaded from the website, www.brockwayfourth.com .  Also, visit  www.misspa.org for more information.  Deadline for this preliminary interest form submission is February 20, 2006.  A meeting will then be held on Friday, February 24, 2006.
